Strong pace at Barum
Despite some setbacks , Luca Pröglhöf and Christina Ettel showed at the Barum Czech Rally Zlín that they can keep pace at the top of the Junior European Championship even with limited time in their car. The demanding high-speed stages, with crests, uneven asphalt, and little room for error, pushed the duo in the ADAC Opel Rally Junior Team 's Opel Corsa Rally4 to their limits.
After some time-consuming incidents, Pröglhöf/Ettel fought their way up to third place in the Junior European Championship before dropping back to sixth on Saturday evening. On Sunday, they launched another comeback attempt, but a late braking point led to a rear-end collision and a puncture, costing them around a minute.
Thanks to the quick repair by the Opel Motorsport team, the crew was able to continue the rally and ultimately finish in sixth place .
Despite missing out on the podium, Luca takes away the strong pace above all: "The Barum has shown that we have the pace internationally."
The focus is now already on 2027 , for which Pröglhöf/Ettel aim to put together another strong international program and attract further partners and sponsors.
